Connect your CRM and control what Curvo writes
In this article
Connect your CRM from Settings > Company > Integrations, then use Settings > Company > CRM to decide what Curvo writes to it. Owners and View-only Owners can do both. By default, Curvo pushes a meeting note after each meeting and creates contacts as part of that note. It doesn't create deals or companies unless you turn that on.
Connect your CRM
Your company can connect one CRM at a time.
Select your name at the bottom of the left sidebar, then Settings.
Under Company, open Integrations.
Select Connect on your CRM's card and authorise Curvo in the CRM's sign-in window.
Open CRM under Company and review the settings below.
CRM | How it connects |
|---|---|
HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoho CRM, GoHighLevel | Directly, from the card. |
MS Dynamics | Directly. Enter your Dataverse environment address first. |
Others, such as Pipedrive | Through Merge.dev. Select Connect, Get Started, then Continue to Merge.dev. |
A Dataverse environment address looks like org1234.crm8.dynamics.com.
For anything else, select Request Integration on the Integrations page.
Disconnect keeps your deals, meeting links, CRM notes and field mappings in Curvo, ready for when you reconnect. If connecting Zoho CRM or MS Dynamics would replace existing CRM data, Curvo asks Replace the existing CRM data? and lists what it will delete before you select Replace and rebuild. Your meetings and CRM notes are kept.
What Curvo writes
Setting | What it does |
|---|---|
Push meeting notes | Writes a meeting note after each meeting. On by default, on all CRMs |
Include private meetings | Includes notes for private meetings. On by default, on all CRMs |
Push to contact without a deal | Writes the note to a contact when no deal is linked. On by default, on all CRMs |
Include full transcript in CRM notes | Adds the full transcript to the note. Off by default, on HubSpot connected directly |
Include private meeting transcripts | Includes the transcript for private meetings. Off by default, on HubSpot connected directly |
Create contacts | Creates contacts from meeting participants. On by default, not on Merge.dev |
Create deals | Creates deals from meetings. Off by default, not on Merge.dev |
Create companies | Creates company records. Off by default, not on Merge.dev |
Extract deal value | Finds the deal value in the transcript. Off by default. See below |
Update close date | Writes a close date agreed on a call. Off by default, on HubSpot connected directly |
Field mapping | Writes mapped fields, on HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoho CRM and MS Dynamics. Nothing is written until you map a field |
Include private meetings is on by default. If private meetings shouldn't reach your CRM, turn it off.
The note contains a View full analysis link back to Curvo, the date and duration, external participants, the meeting's purpose, key topics, takeaways, next steps and framework scores.
Where it lands depends on your CRM:
CRM | Where the note goes |
|---|---|
HubSpot | A meeting record. Turn on Use HubSpot's calendar meeting to add it to the meeting HubSpot already logged from the organiser's calendar, instead of creating a second one. |
Salesforce | An event record. |
Zoho CRM, MS Dynamics | A note on the matching records. |
GoHighLevel | An appointment. |
Merge.dev | A note, if the CRM accepts notes through Merge.dev. |
Contact creation happens as part of pushing a note, so with Push meeting notes off, notes won't create contacts. Records from Create contacts and Create companies are enriched with Apollo.io data.
Deal value
Extract deal value looks for contract values, budgets and pricing in transcripts. Under Detection signals you choose which to look for. On HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoho CRM and MS Dynamics, the setting that starts Push values to, followed by your CRM's name, decides when the value is written:
Option | What happens |
|---|---|
Only if empty (default) | Writes only when the deal has no value. |
Always | Overwrites the value. |
Flag for review | Keeps the value in Curvo and doesn't write it. |
Never | Doesn't write it. |
Field mapping
Select Configure under Field mapping to open CRM field settings. Create the property in your CRM first, because Curvo doesn't create it for you, then map it here. Verify fields checks that mapped properties still exist. Meeting outputs and custom extractions sync to your CRM. ARR, Renewal date, Contract end date and Region sync the other way, from your CRM into Curvo.
Changes people make in Curvo
These write to your CRM straight away, whatever the settings above say:
Dragging a deal to another stage, or editing the stage, amount or close date on the deal page. See Deals.
Creating a deal from the deal picker.
Selecting Add to CRM notes on a meeting.
What Curvo doesn't write
The recording. The note links back to Curvo instead.
Transcripts, unless you're on HubSpot connected directly and have turned them on.
Risks or coaching recommendations. They aren't in the note.
Approve updates before they're written
Turn on Approve updates before they're pushed to hold each meeting's note, mapped fields, deal value and close date. It's off by default.
After the meeting, a review control appears in the meeting's header. Nothing from that meeting's update is written until someone approves it.
The meeting owner, an Owner or a View-only Owner opens it. Choose fields lets them leave out individual fields.
They select the sync button, for example Sync 3 updates, to write the update.
Approval doesn't cover Create deals, which happens when Curvo matches the meeting to a deal, or the manual changes listed above.
Other settings on this page
Visible pipelines, Currency settings and Deal matching write nothing themselves, although Deal matching decides which deal a meeting's note goes on.
Reset to defaults turns off Create contacts as well as the other record creation settings, and can't be undone. Custom field mappings aren't affected.
