Curvo FAQs
Answers to common questions about calendars, meeting bots, recordings and the Curvo Companion app.
Getting started
How do I get started with Curvo?
Start by connecting your calendar. This lets Curvo find your upcoming meetings and schedule the bot according to your meeting capture settings.
Follow the Quick Start: Sales Rep guide for the full setup process.
Which calendars can I connect?
Curvo supports Google Calendar and Microsoft Outlook.
Open Calendar Sync and select Connect beside your calendar provider. Once setup is complete, the provider will show as Connected.
Meeting bots
Why didn’t the Curvo bot join my meeting?
Check these settings in order:
Open Calendar Sync. Make sure your Google Calendar or Outlook connection shows as Connected.
Open Bot Settings. Check whether Curvo is allowed to join upcoming, recurring and internal meetings.
Open Upcoming meetings. Find the meeting and check that it has a valid join link and is set to Notetaker or Realtime AI, rather than Off.
If your personal settings look correct, ask your workspace admin to check the company bot settings. Company rules can limit automatic bots to meetings organised by your team, exclude internal meetings or block meetings involving specified domains.
Curvo needs a supported meeting link before it can join. If the meeting is missing from your upcoming meetings, check that the calendar event contains the full Google Meet, Zoom or Microsoft Teams link.
If these settings were correct before the meeting, email support@curvo.ai with the meeting title, date and start time.
Do I need to connect my calendar?
You need a calendar connection for Curvo to find meetings and schedule bots automatically.
You can still add Curvo to a live meeting manually. Open Meetings, select Instant Bot and enter the meeting link.
How do I control which meetings Curvo joins?
Open Bot Settings. Depending on your workspace configuration, you can control whether Curvo joins:
Upcoming meetings
Recurring meetings
Internal meetings
Your workspace admin controls the company-wide recording policy. Their settings can take precedence over your personal choices.
Can I stop Curvo from joining one meeting?
If you are the meeting organiser, open Upcoming meetings, find the meeting and select Off.
You can also choose Notetaker or Realtime AI for an individual meeting when those options are available in your workspace.
What is the difference between Off, Notetaker and Realtime AI?
Off: Curvo will not join the meeting.
Notetaker: Curvo joins and records the meeting.
Realtime AI: Curvo joins, records and opens the live Companion experience.
Realtime AI may not be available in every workspace.
Can I invite Curvo after a meeting has started?
Yes. Open Meetings, select Instant Bot and paste the active meeting link.
Instant Bot accepts Google Meet, Zoom and Microsoft Teams links.
Why was Curvo waiting outside the meeting?
Some meetings require the host to admit participants from a lobby or waiting room. If Curvo was not admitted, it cannot record the call or create a transcript.
Ask the host to admit the Curvo notetaker when it appears. The host can also review the meeting platform’s lobby settings before the next call.
Why does my meeting say “Meeting link not found”?
Curvo opened the meeting link but could not find an active call. Check that:
The calendar event contains the correct link.
The link points to the intended meeting.
The meeting has started.
You supplied the full Google Meet, Zoom or Microsoft Teams URL.
For a live call, you can try the correct link again through Instant Bot.
Recordings and analysis
Curvo joined, so why is there no recording or transcript?
Open the meeting in Past meetings and check its status. Common causes include:
Curvo was waiting in the lobby and was not admitted.
The meeting link did not point to an active call.
Curvo was set to Off.
The calendar event did not contain a meeting link.
The recording is still processing.
The meeting was too short to transcribe or analyse.
No audio was detected.
The meeting page will show a warning when Curvo can identify the cause.
Where can I find my meeting summary, transcript and clips?
Open Meetings, select the completed meeting and use the tabs on the meeting page.
These guides explain each area:
Why is my meeting still processing?
Meeting analysis starts after the recording is available. Your summary, transcript and other insights will appear on the meeting page when processing finishes.
If the meeting remains in processing much longer than expected, email support@curvo.ai with the meeting title, date and start time.
Can I upload a recording from a meeting Curvo did not attend?
Yes. Open Meetings and select Upload.
Uploads must be MP4 files and no larger than 2 GB. Curvo will process the recording and add it to your meetings.
Curvo Companion
What is Curvo Companion?
Curvo Companion is the desktop app for private, in-meeting guidance. It runs on your computer and does not add a bot participant to the call.
You can download it from the Companion page and follow the installation guide.
Why isn’t Companion detecting my meeting?
First, confirm that Companion is running. Look for the Curvo icon in the macOS menu bar or Windows system tray.
Then open Calendar Sync and make sure your calendar shows as Connected. Companion uses the calendar connection to find upcoming meetings.
See Troubleshooting Companion for microphone, screen recording, audio and login checks.
Access and administration
Why can’t I schedule a bot, upload a recording or change a setting?
Your Curvo seat or workspace permissions may not include that action. Company-wide bot rules are also managed by workspace owners and admins.
Ask your workspace admin to review your access. Admins can use:
