Account
This page shows your name, email address and account type. It also has:
Item | What it does |
|---|---|
Calendars | Connects Google Calendar or Outlook Calendar, so your meetings appear in Companion |
Go to Curvo AI Web | Opens the web app in your browser |
Payment Settings | Manages your subscription. It only appears for Owners on self-serve accounts with an active subscription |
Get Help | Opens a chat with Curvo support, or an email if the chat can't load |
Privacy Policy | Opens Curvo's privacy policy |
Sign Out | Signs you out. Stop any recording first, because Companion won't sign out during one |
General
Item | What it does |
|---|---|
Start at Login | Opens Curvo when you log in to your computer |
Logs folder | Open Logs Folder opens the folder on your computer that stores diagnostic logs |
Analytics | Collects usage data linked to your account, including your name, email, role and company. It's on by default. Turn off the switch to stop it |
Share diagnostic logs | Upload latest logs sends your last 48 hours of logs to Curvo support |
Notifications | Shows Coming Soon. Meeting notifications are on the Meeting page |
Accessibility
Item | What it does |
|---|---|
Appearance | Choose Light, Dark or System. The switch reads Global until you turn it on, then Split lets you set App and Live experience separately |
Reduce motion | Limits animations and transitions |
Solid window backgrounds | Replaces the glass effect with an opaque finish. Not available in light mode |
Text size | Choose More Space, Standard or Extra large |
Default layout | Mac only. Arranges your meeting beside the live meeting view. Side-by-side with HUD RTN puts the Live widget above them, and Side-by-side sans HUD RTN runs them full height. Activate Layout (⌃⌥0) brings your choice back |
Updates
Curvo downloads new versions by itself. Click Check for updates at the top right to look for one now.
When a version has downloaded, this page shows its release notes and Update Now. During a call, Curvo waits and installs the update the next time you quit. If nothing is waiting, the page says "No updates are waiting to be installed."
Meeting
Item | What it does |
|---|---|
RTN Mode | RTN stands for real-time nudges. This switch turns the Live widget on or off, and the widget shows nudges during a call. Available on selected workspaces. See The live meeting view |
Audio only recording | Records audio and transcript with no video. If your organisation enforces this, the switch is locked and says so |
Stealth mode | Hides every Curvo window from screen shares and recordings |
Keep cafe on top | Keeps the live meeting view above your other apps while a meeting is open. "Cafe" in this label means that window |
Recording Mode | Companion, marked "Recommended experience", records from your computer with no bot in the call. Curvo AI Bot, marked "For legacy devices", records with a bot from our servers. Curvo AI Bot is unavailable while Audio only recording is on, and on Windows Companion needs the Visual C++ runtime |
Meeting notifications | Notifies you before meetings start. When it's off, the Meeting detected card stays hidden too |
Notification Timing | Choose from 1 minute before up to 15 minutes before. This only appears while Meeting notifications is on |
See Meetings in Companion for how recording modes work in practice.
Permissions
On a Mac, this page shows three permissions.
Permission | What it's for and where to grant it |
|---|---|
Microphone | Live transcription during your meetings. Click Enable and select Allow |
Accessibility | Detecting and joining your meetings. Grant it in System Settings > Privacy & Security > Accessibility |
Screen Recording | Capturing meeting content for review and analysis. Grant it in System Settings > Privacy & Security > Screen Recording |
Click Enable or Open Settings beside a permission, then Refresh Permission Status to update the page.
With Audio only recording on, Curvo doesn't need Screen Recording. macOS asks for system audio access instead, which has no row on this page.
On Windows, every row shows Granted and there is nothing to enable here.
