Ask Curvo

Updated by Rory

Available on selected workspaces. Ask Curvo answers questions about your meetings and deals, and you can open it from Chat in the sidebar, from a meeting or from a deal. It depends on your company's Chat module, which Curvo turns on for your workspace. If Chat isn't in your sidebar, the module is off.

Where to ask

Where

How to open it

What it focuses on

Chat

Chat in the sidebar

The meetings and deals you can see

A meeting

The Ask Curvo tab, or the bar at the bottom of the meeting page

That meeting. It looks further if your question asks for it, such as "previous calls" or "deal history"

A deal

The Ask Curvo tab on the deal

That deal

To ask from the sidebar:

  1. Select Chat.

  2. Type your question, or select a suggested question. For example, "What objections came up in our Acme calls?"

  3. Press Enter to send.

Where an answer cites a call, the citation links to that meeting. Curvo AI can make mistakes, so check anything you plan to rely on.

Owners and View-only Owners can change the suggested questions in Settings under Company, then Chat Questions.

What it can and can't use

Ask Curvo can draw on meeting details and transcripts, deals and deal activity, framework scores, actions from meetings and product feedback raised in calls. In a deal chat it can also search that deal's documents. It can search the public web too, and in a deal chat it only does so if you ask.

Your access limits what it can read:

  • It only reads meetings you can open yourself. See Who can see a meeting.

  • Reports on individual reps and competitor mention counts are limited to Owners and View-only Owners.

Threads and history

Your conversations are listed under Chats, grouped by Today, Yesterday, Previous 7 days, Previous 30 days and then by month. Threads are personal to you. Meeting and deal threads appear in the same list, with an icon that takes you back to the meeting or deal.

  • To start again, select New, or the new chat icon on a meeting or deal.

  • Returning to a meeting or deal continues your latest thread for it.

  • From the bar on a meeting, Open full chat moves the conversation to the Ask Curvo tab.

  • To delete a thread on a computer, hover over it and select the bin icon. It's deleted straight away, with no confirmation step.

Standard and Pro

Use the Standard and Pro switch below the message box. Standard starts on your question as soon as you send it. Pro first shows you a plan, and starts work only when you select Approve. Select Cancel to drop it.

  • You get 10 Pro runs each calendar month (UTC). A run counts when you approve its plan.

  • The message box shows how many runs you have left.

  • Pro applies to the first question in a new conversation. After that, the conversation continues in Standard.

Connect your calendar, CRM and email

To see the connectors, select your name at the bottom of the left sidebar, then Settings. Under Your account, select Chat Connectors. That page links to where you connect each one.

Mention

What it does and what it needs

@calendar

Checks your free time and prepares calendar events. Connect it in Calendar Sync, with Google or Outlook. Creating an event needs your approval, and approving it sends invitations from your calendar

@crm

Reads live deals, stages, owners and pipelines from your CRM. Connect it in Integrations in Company settings, with HubSpot, Salesforce or Zoho. It needs no approval, as it only reads

@email

Prepares email drafts. Connect it in Calendar Sync, with Google or Outlook. Creating the draft needs your approval. With Outlook, Curvo creates a draft in Outlook. With Gmail, Open in Gmail opens a prefilled message for you to review. Curvo never sends the email

Integrations is managed by Owners and View-only Owners. @crm uses your company's CRM connection, so its results follow the pipelines your company has selected and aren't limited by Curvo's meeting visibility.

To use a connector in Chat or an Ask Curvo tab:

  1. Type the mention, or select Connectors and choose one. A mention gives Ask Curvo access for that thread, as long as the tool is connected.

  2. If Curvo needs a connector you didn't mention, it asks first. Select Grant for thread or Deny. If the tool isn't connected, select Open settings.

  3. For a calendar event or email draft, review the card Curvo shows you. You can select Edit details, Deny, Approve once or Always allow in thread.

Always allow in thread applies to that action for the rest of the thread. For @calendar, that means later events are created and invitations sent without asking you again.

If @email isn't available, Ask Curvo can still write the draft in its reply for you to copy.
